For the second time, ten of the most promising young Filipino basketball prospects enjoyed the "Alaska NBA Experience" in Los Angeles, California USA. The Jr. NBA Philippine team who participated on all-expense-paid five-day NBA Experience trip are Miguel Fortuna, Vince Ferrer, Marvin Sario, Gian Mamuyac, Tyler Tio, Ricci Rivero, Samuel Abujileh, Anthony Sistoza, Mahloney Tarranza and Pawandeep Singh. 

Lakers Kobe Bryant presents donation of US$150K to the Philippine Red Cross for Typhoon Relief Efforts to the Jr NBA All Star team

As part of the NBA Experience trip, they watched the Memphis Grizzles and Los Angeles Lakers match LIVE at the Staples Center. In between the first and second quarters of the match, they take the Staples Center midcourt to receive a US$150k donation to the Philippine Red Cross for relief operations of typhoon Yolanda. They also faced Maranatha High School Minutemen on a friendly match during the US Trip with the help of coach Jojo Lastimosa and coach Raymon Mercader.
